Wachau Valley - UNESCO World Heritage

The Wachau Valley is a cultural landscape between the cities Melk and Krems on the river Danube and is in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

A visit to the museum of the Melk Abbey Stift Melk(Stift Melk) is one of the highlights of the tour. You will be amazed by the dimensions of the splendid building complex of the Abbey, its unique and rich baroque decoration and its particularly noteworthy library.

Expect to see a beautiful and cultivated landscape of castles, vineyards on terraces and orchards on this private tour along the lovely scenery of the Wachau Valley with your tourist guide.

On our way back to Vienna, we will stop at the village of Dürnstein where it is possible to taste local products.
